The Sierra Wireless AirCard® 595U USB Modem plugs into your USB port on our laptop, and functions the same as a traditional PCMCIA PC card. The devices also comes with a docking cradle with USB cable, allowing you to connect to desktop computers. The Sierra Wireless AirCard® 595U USB Modem also has a built-in rechargeable battery to support additional EVDO power requirements during peak transmission (beyond USB portability)

The Sierra Wireless AirCard 595U USB Modem will operate on the TELUS Wireless High Speed (EVDO Rev A) network. EVDO Rev A is the next-generation wireless network technology that offers typical upload speeds of 300 to 400 kbps and typical download speeds of approximately 450 to 800 kbps. TELUS plans to introduce EVDO Rev A service in selected markets across Canada later this year.
